Roof expert

As a roof expert, you will have to prepare a comprehensive technical inspection report after an account manager has first been on site. You will therefore be the customers' 2nd contact. The Account Manager is the first link and works with the customer to find the right solution. Once this has been found, you are called in. With your technical vision to carry out roof inspections at the customer's premises. On the one measure and record important parameters and on the other hand, you carry out inspections of, for example, the construction of the roofs, their lifespan and quality.

You will mostly work independently and be on the job alone. Your projects are spread all over Flanders, but you will set your own schedule. The job is a combination of working in the field and administration. It is very important to definitely not be afraid of heights, because you will have to go up on the roof yourself. 

Our client specialising in industrial roof renovations is headquartered in Helmond (Netherlands). However, they also supply the Belgian market from their Belgian office in Genk. The projects are very diverse and range from an SME to a gigantic business complex with several roofs. About 6 people work in Genk.

In order to do your job well, it is good if you are familiar with drawing programmes and that you have completed or want to complete VCA training. Experience in new-build roofs and roof renovation is a plus.
