  • Flexible hours on a monthly basis, starting between 7-9 in the morning.
  • 35 days of leave, including 20 statutory and 15 adv days (40 hours in a 37.5 hour system).

Function

As CI Manager, you will report to the Plant Manager and lead the continuous improvement initiatives of the site.

You ensure that existing processes maintain a high level of performance while they are continuously reviewed and refined.

You are responsible for establishing a culture of operational excellence

in all operations of the plant with emphasis on sustainable development.

Essential tasks and responsibilities:

  • Managing CI projects as assigned, typically within a local region or business unit.
  • Conducting gap analyses to identify shortcomings in business processes and
  • identify programmes, and make recommendations for adjustments to programmes and/or processes.
  • Leading cross-functional project teams formed to implement change and continuous improvement.
  • Adherence to standard processes for data collection, documentation and
  • reporting.
  • Planning budgets and managing costs related to operational excellence initiatives.
  • Managing various CI strategies for transactional and/or production activities.
  • Participating in improvement reviews with local and/or regional management.

Profile

  • You have at least a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in a Continuous Improvement function.
  • Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification required.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of cycle time reduction, waste reduction, yield improvement, productivity and throughput improvement.
  • You have hands-on experience with the use of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
  • methods (LEAN, TPM, Six Sigma, TQM).
  • Proven leadership skills to coach and lead teams to fully meet
  • objectives and projects.
  • You have experience with project management.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • You have advanced problem-solving skills, an eye for detail and a great deal of numerical insight.
