Senior Accountant

In the position of Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the accounts. 

Your duties will include:

• Maintaining financial records including recording income and expenses, preparing invoices and maintaining bank statements.
• Preparing financial statements, such as the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statements.
• Performing monthly and year-end closures.
• Maintaining financial records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Advising management on financial matters and providing financial reports.
• Checking financial records to ensure they are accurate and complete.
• Taking care of communication with external parties.

To make this growth a reality, they are looking for a senior accountant to work with the current team to further optimise accounting.

You hold a degree in accounting or accountancy-tax or have similar qualifications. In addition, you have several years of professional experience within operational accounting. You have extensive knowledge of accounting according to Belgian GAAP. Furthermore, you have strong analytical skills and a passion for figures. You are a team player but can also work independently.
