Function
You combine your expertise in PLC programming with your technical insight to realise new projects and optimise existing systems. You work closely with colleagues's who are responsible for web applications linked to your automation projects, as well as with the technicians who assemble the mechanical solution on site.
Your duties include:
- Performing functional analysis of the plant and converting it to an automation programme.
- Making the software ready for operation by testing using a simulation platform.

Profile
- You have a master's or bachelor's degree in industrial sciences (automation or equivalent experience).
- You speak fluent Dutch and have no problem expressing yourself in English or French.
- You have a good knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal.
- Broad knowledge of communication protocols between industrial machines.
- Concepts like Industry 4.0, IIoT, CI/CD, unit testing and integration testing motivate you.
- Experience with network technology is a plus.
- You work accurately, are result-oriented and have a healthy dose of independence and initiative. At the same time, you are a real team player.
- You have a sense of continuous innovation and a focus on sustainable solutions.
