Architectural draftsman

Due to growth, this family business is looking for an additional architectural draftsman for the Vlamertinge region. What will your tasks include in this vacancy?

• You draw out implementation plans based on the architectural plans.
• As an architectural draughtsman, you will draw up the parts drawings and reinforcement plans for columns and beams.
• You make sure that everything is correct in order to put it into production.
• As an architectural draftsman you will draw in Tekla.

For this vacancy as architectural draftsman in the Vlamertinge region, I am looking for someone who fits the following profile:

• You have a construction engineering background.
• Knowledge of Tekla is a plus, not a must.
• BIM is not unknown to you.
• Since you work in the construction industry, you can perform well under deadlines.
• As an architectural draftsman, you are precise and structured in your work.
• You are open to helping colleagues's where necessary but you also enjoy working independently.

Together with its French sister company, this company specialises in agricultural and industrial construction. The client works with prefabricated concrete as the structural shell. This is a fast, fire-safe, economical and sustainable solution tailored to the customer's needs. They are active in, among others:

• industrial construction such as production halls, business centres, logistics buildings, retail spaces, showrooms and offices;
• agricultural buildings such as storage sheds, machine sheds or stables for horses, poultry or cattle. The structures of these agricultural buildings can be made of both metal and concrete;
• ready-mixed concrete.

The company is a family business, generation after generation, and has been active in the construction industry for more than 90 years.
