Application Specialist

As an Application Specialist, you will suggest the right and best possible solutions to customers over the phone in terms of their Pressure Relief offerings. 

Since every project is different, it is important to always find out the right information. You do this by engaging with your client, asking the right questions and thus detecting needs. 

You prepare quotations and pass the file internally.

Afterwards, you remain available to the customer by phone for any technical questions. 

Finally, you continuously keep up to date with the latest products, applications, services, pricing settings and procedures, in order to ensure your service is always optimal.

• You have a technical degree or can provide equivalent experience. 
• Technical affinity is a must, as is a desire to learn and grow in your job.
• You are a team player but also take initiative easily.
• A customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills are needed to help your customers in the best possible way. 
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• A dynamic and changeable environment does not deter you. Whether this is a change in the industry or in the systems used.
• You always know how to keep a cool head, even in situations with many deadlines.
• Finally, you are very precise. After all, your work revolves around safety around which there are strict regulations. 

This company is the specialist in rupture disc technologies, explosion protection, fire alarm systems and fire extinguishing solutions. They have multiple manufacturing sites in the US, Belgium, Wales, Canada and India.
