Accountant and Consolidation Manager

As an Accountant and Consolidation Manager, you will have the following duties:

• Follow-up of the accounts of a number of companies in the group;
• Prepare audit & closures in collaboration with external consultants;
• Participate in process optimisations and automations;
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements, annual reports;
• Supervise consolidation processesn;
• Taking care of periodic closures;
• Reporting to the CFO.

Our client is a large construction company that has been operating for more than 30 years and specialises in contracting medium and large construction projects (flats, offices and utilities) for the private and public sector in East and West Flanders.

The company consists of several companies and employs more than 100 people.

For their Finance team at headquarters in Aalter, they are looking for an Accountant who can also take on consolidations.

As an Accountant and Consolidation Manager, you have/are:

• Master's degree in TEW, commercial sciences or Bachelor of Accountancy-taxation;
• Minimum first relevant experience;
• Knowledge of consolidation processes according to BE GAAP;
• Knowledge of IFRS is a plus;
• Analytical reasoning ability;
• Accurate and structured;
• Communicative and collegial.
