Within this position you are responsible for the following tasks:

• You are responsible for the daily accounting of various companies.
• You follow up the accounting for our foreign companies, this is done in cooperation with an external office.
• You book the purchase and sales invoices, as well as fulfilling legal and financial reporting requirements and processing financial/miscellaneous diaries for various files.
• You take care of the preparation and finishing of the monthly VAT declarations and the handling or elaboration of partial aspects of the annual accounts or tax topics;

For a group of companies with headquarters in Lichtervelde, we are looking for an enthusiastic accountant.

As an Accountant at this company you have/can:

• You have at least a bachelor's degree, or equivalent through experience.
• It is a bonus if you already have a first experience as an accountant in a company or accounting firm.
• You are dynamic and dare to take initiative.
• You are a real team player.
• You are numerical, meticulous and can easily deal with deadlines.
• You have experience with the most common PC applications (MS Office).
• Analytical accounting knowledge is a plus, as well as software knowledge of Expert/M.
• Knowledge of English is a must, German is also a plus.
