Accountant

As an Accountant you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Full responsibility within Benelux in Account Payables, General Ledger and Reporting;
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closures (both internal and external);
• Preparation of monthly reports to head office & documentation for audits;
• Handling tax and VAT-related tasks;
• Active participation in local and international projects to ensure efficiency and process optimisation;
• Reporting to the Accounting Manager.

Our client is an international company operating in more than 20 countries. They operate in the IT sector and specialise in parking management systems in ski resorts, shopping centres, major airports, municipalities, sports stadiums, exhibition centres and theme parks.

To strengthen their Finance team, they are currently looking for an Accountant.

As an Accountant you are/have:

• Bachelor's degree in an economic field (preferably Accountancy-Taxation);
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar, international environment;
• Advanced Microsoft Dynamics and MS Office knowledge(especially Excel);
• Good knowledge/experience of Belgian and Dutch VAT;
• Strong communication skills;
• Very good knowledge (oral and written) of business Dutch, English and French;
• Analytical thinking skills;
• Structured, independent and highly accurate way of working;
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment;
• Flexibility and team spirit.
