Accountant

• You take care of the daily financial transactions, the control and financial management of our operating companies and participate in the follow-up of debtors, creditors & banks.
• You assist our financial department with the follow-up of shipping files of several customers. This includes control, invoicing and communication (internal & external) regarding these shipping files.
• You provide support for correct & efficient month and year end closing
• With your analytical and accurate view of the facts, you are the guarantor of sound financial administration.

Our partner started in 1985 as a freight forwarder in Antwerp. Their enthusiasm and the confidence of a number of important shippers allowed them to grow into a medium-sized organisation with a worldwide network and the necessary modern operational and financial resources.

• You preferably have a level A1 accounting degree or equivalent through experience.
• You are communicative and fluently multilingual: Dutch, French and English.
• You have knowledge and experience of working in a completely digital environment with multiple applications.
• Knowledge of shipping is a plus.
• You are precise, analytical, driven, stress-resistant, and enjoy working in a team.
