As a Calculator, you will be responsible for the following together with the Account Manager:

• You will be responsible for preparing quotes and selling construction projects.
• You will have the necessary contacts with clients and architects.
• As part of a team, you thoroughly analyse construction files, investigate gaps and possible optimisations, and finalise the quotation.
• You will generate revenue by handling incoming construction files and building a contact network.
• You will be a key link and co-responsible for selling the construction projects.
• After selling the project, you pass everything on to the project managers responsible for executing the project.
• You will work closely with your fellow Account Manager, and over time there is also room to grow into the role of Account Manager yourself.

For a medium-sized class 5 construction company operating in a niche of industrial construction, we are looking for a Calculator. Specifically, they specialise in hygienic refrigeration for the food and pharmaceutical industries and are leaders in this field in Belgium. They have been around for more than 25 years and have many references in the meantime. Moreover, they are known for their commitment to service and quality.
Today, the team has about 50 employees and is still looking for a Calculator to join them.

As a Calculator, you possess the following competencies:

• You have had a higher (construction) technical education
• Some experience in a similar position with commercial slant is a plus.
• You have technical insight and the necessary commercial qualities.
• You have a good understanding of construction.
• You are computationally accurate, methodical, punctual and competent in analysing your files.
• You work autonomously but are also a team player.
• You speak and write very good Dutch and have a working knowledge of French.
• You can work well with the usual MS office packages and have knowledge of Autocad.
• You are interested in expanding and deepening your knowledge in the sector.
